The Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Champagne Sun Grown Corona Extra is a treat. It’s a medium to full-bodied, box-pressed cigar. It uses a special Cuban-seed Nicaraguan Sungrown wrapper. This wrapper is aged in bourbon barrels. The binder and filler are also Cuban-seed Nicaraguan tobaccos. All tobacco is aged for at least six years. The wrappers undergo a secret family aging method. Nick Perdomo Sr. called it the “Champagne” process. There’s also a Connecticut version. It’s mild to medium-bodied. It uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper. A Maduro version is available.
